Eosio

The chestahedron of Eosio is a seven-sided 3-dimensional shape created by mathematician Frank Chester. Although the seven sides are not the same shape, they are equal in area.

The operating system of the blockchain; EOSIO software provides the accounts, authentication, databases, communication, and scheduling of applications across multiple CPUs and clusters. The blockchain has the potential to scale to millions of transactions per second, eliminate user fees and allow quick easy deployment of decentralized applications.

Daniel Larimer is the main developer of the software. This is the third successful project developed by Daniel Larimer. Eosio follows on the work of Bitshares and Steemit.

In my opinion, from the interviews I have heard, and the articles I have read. Daniel Larimer is working very hard to make the Eos token worthless and the blockchain valuable. He has been self described as a libertarian, and has been involved with Universal Basic Income groups, and has spoken of a Universal Resource inheritance for the Eos achitecture.
